General Information

The Corona RC Club is a family oriented club that has a strong focus on enjoying the sport of radio control modeling. We are always searching for more people to enjoy our passion with. We invite anyone to come on out and join us. Please take your time and enjoy our site. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact anyone listed in these pages. We would love to meet you and we hope that you might want to join our family.

The Corona R/C club was established in 1981. The club is represented at many local air shows every year. The Club has it's monthly meeting at the Kountry Folks Restaurant located just North of the 91 freeway at the La Sierra exit in Riverside. This meeting is held on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30p.m. It is always a great idea to save your appetite and show up a little early for dinner. There is no obligation to join the club if you attend the meeting so come on down and get to know the family.

Our club is very fortunate in that we an excellent flying field that we can fly at 7 days a week. The hours are from 8am to 1pm. Weekends have more people but Tuesdays and Thursdays also tend to get a bit of a crowd. Come on out and check it out.

La Sierra/Arlington Field

From the 91 Fwy:

Exit La Sierra and go North
La Sierra dead ends into Arlington, Turn left.
Once you start going down the hill the entrance to the field is the first thing on your right. There is usually a sign on one of the telephone poles marking our entrance. Once you turn off and go through the gate just follow the dirt road and it will lead you to us.

From the 15 Fwy:

Exit 6th St and Go East
The fifth light is California Ave, Turn left.
The third stop sign is North Ave, Turn Right.
After you pass the Hidden Valley Wildlife Center the field entrance will be on your left.
Once you turn off and go through the gate just follow the dirt road and it will lead you to us.

Membership

Our club is currently 100 members strong. This means that there is more than enough airspace for our members. You won't have to wait 2 hours to fly. Below is a list of our dues. Please note that all memberships include our monthly newsletter the "Flight Box" and the $15 fee is for those of you who would like to receive our newsletter only and not become a member of our club. If you like what you see and would like to become a member please download the following Excel form, print it out and mail it to our treasurer along with a check made payable to the Corona R/C Club. We will send you a membership card in the mail as soon as your membership has been processed. Dues are as follows:
